Painting Guard instructions: For clear coat scratches: Clean the area. Apply to a soft cloth and rub into the scratch. After a few minutes, lightly wipe with a microfibre cloth or a lint-free cloth in an X pattern until the scratch is shiny and no longer stained.
For faded plastics: Apply to a folded flat lint-free towel. Wipe over the area as evenly as possible. After a few minutes, wipe with a damp, folded, flat T-shirt cloth in long, even strokes to achieve an even shine. Use a brush for narrow crevices. See instructions for further information.
The three hazard logos CAUTION Flammable liquid and vapours. May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. May cause damage to the cardiovascular system and central nervous system through prolonged or repeated exposure. Causes skin irritation. Causes eye irritation.
May cause respiratory tract irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Suspected of damaging fertility or the unborn child if inhaled. Self-heating: May catch fire.
Precautions: Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition. Do not smoke.
Do not stack or store soaked materials. Wash off material with soapy water or leave unfolded to dry in the open air. Do not apply with foam or similar materials. Do not mix with other solvents.
Wear protective gloves / protective clothing / eye protection / face protection.
First aid:
SKIN CONTACT: Wash with soap and water. Rinse with water. Rinse for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing. Take care not to contaminate eyes. Seek medical attention if skin irritation persists. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse, dispose of contaminated shoes or items that cannot be thoroughly cleaned. EYE CONTACT: If this product gets into the eyes, open eyes under gently running water. “ROLL” eyes to expose more surface area. Rinse for at least 15 minutes. Get immediate medical attention.
Breathing: Remove affected person to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. In the event of respiratory arrest, trained personnel should start artificial respiration immediately. In the event of cardiac arrest, trained personnel should start cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) immediately. Seek medical attention immediately. Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation can be dangerous for the person helping. If the victim is unconscious, place them in the recovery position and seek medical attention immediately. Keep the airways clear. Loosen tight clothing such as collars, ties, belts or trouser waistbands. If decomposition products from a fire are inhaled, symptoms may be delayed. The exposed person may need to be medically monitored for 48 hours. INHALATION: If swallowed: CALL A DOCTOR OR POISON INFORMATION CENTRE FOR UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION. If professional medical advice is not available. Give two glasses of water to drink. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Never induce vomiting or give fluids to someone who is unconscious, convulsing or unable to swallow. Seek medical advice immediately.
